The Cool-Vega Company's exclusive production and packaging process safely preserves the natural flavour, smell, texture and nutritional value of the original raw materials: top-quality fresh fruit and vegetables.
It is an innovative process that thoroughly monitors and regulates the temperature throughout all the phases of the process in order to keep the nutritional properties of the fruit and vegetables intact at all times. To this end, all the products are kept refrigerated to conserve their freshness throughout their entire useful life.
Cool-Vega Company's production and packaging plant is equipped with modern, exclusive, state-of-the-art equipment, designed specifically to achieve the required precision and thus to optimise production factors and energy consumption.

Cool-Vega Company offers consumers products that have been prepared after the selection and handling of the best fresh, natural vegetables from the Spanish countryside.
More than 80 per cent of the raw materials used in our products is found under 30 km from the production plant, which further ensures the freshness of the raw materials used. This supplier has been awarded GlobalG.A.P. certification, which guarantees that the food meets established quality and safety levels and has been produced sustainably, respecting the hygiene, safety and welfare of workers, and the environment, and in consideration of animal welfare issues.
We only work with farmers who are able to supply fruit and vegetables that meet all our quality standards at all times of the year.
We audit all our suppliers’ fields and crops and only select fresh produce that meets our stringent quality standards and has the specific characteristics required by each of our products.
Suppliers of other raw materials are required to furnish quality certificates and those certifying the implementation of food safety rules.
100% gluten-free guarantee: If bread is required in the production of our products, we only use bread made at our facilities in order to fully ensure that the products are gluten free.
100% plant-based guarantee: All our products are free from ingredients of animal origin and have not been in contact with them, meaning that they are suitable for vegans.
No added water: None of the products from Cool-Vega Company contains added water, which means they provide more dietary nutrition and their flavour is enhanced.
Transport and storage
The raw materials harvested at the farms are transported to our facilities in authorised refrigerated vehicles.
They go directly from the fields to our facilities, where they are selected and handled while monitoring temperature and humidity at all times to maintain the original freshness and nutritional values of the raw materials.
Once they have reached the production plant, the raw materials go through quality control and are received and stored in our cold storage room at temperatures of between 4 °C and 8 °C, so as not to break the cold chain at any time.
Production is arranged in order to optimise the freshness of each of the raw materials. The monitoring points and systems at our facilities ensure the sealing, quality and weight of all the products.
Production and packaging
The stored materials are moved to the washing and selection area by advanced robots, where they are supervised once again to eliminate any produce that does not have the required characteristics.
Depending on the product that is going to be made, the plant is organised to optimise time and ensure the quality and specifications of that product.
The vegetables are chopped and sent to the deposit room, where the rest of the ingredients of the recipe are added and where the process undergoes monitoring. Then the product is released to be pasteurised and packed aseptically.
There are various monitoring points which at all times provide graphs reporting the parameters of the process to be evaluated.
The processing and packaging using bottles and containers is carried out aseptically and employs the latest machinery – European technology certified as microbiological, capable of aseptic bottling volumes of 10,000 x 1-litre bottles an hour and 1,500 x 500-gramme pots an hour. The machinery has been made exclusively for the company, in order to be able to cover our own functional requirements.

Distribution for consumption
Cool-Vega Company has its own international distribution network. Our products are designed, manufactured and packaged according to the highest quality standards, following trends for healthy, flavoursome food of the maximum freshness which is so much in demand in countries on the European continent and, increasingly, outside it.
We currently manufacture for different companies and distribution channels in Spain, but we also market our products in other European countries.

Receipt of fresh raw materials from farms close to the factory
Our raw materials come mainly from the fields of the Spanish Region of Murcia, as well as coming from Spanish and European firms that supply the rest of the products needed for our production process.
The raw materials are classified and the company performs traceability by batches, identification and strict quality controls based on natural condition, visual appearance, ripeness level, colour, acidity, smell, etc.
Chopping and blending
The raw materials are washed, chopped and, finally, stored in shakeable refrigerated storage containers. This process is performed quickly so as to keep all the properties and freshness of the fruit and vegetables intact. Finally, they are all grouped together and go through to the mixing process; the appropriate amounts of the rest of the ingredients for the relevant product are added, it is checked that the final mixture has the right balance of ingredients and the cold, creamy-textured product is filtered through mesh systems to ensure the right texture for consumption.
Pasteurisation of creamy-textured products
The thermal pasteurisation treatment and the subsequent aseptic packaging of the product is carried out automatically, by setting up the filling apparatus with the appropriate format for the end product. The thermal pasteurisation and aseptic packaging process consists of a short heat treatment at temperatures approaching 90 °C which ensures that the products are safe, stable and maintain the nutritional and organoleptic properties of the raw materials. In the case of pots, the end product, which is kept chilled at all times during the packaging process, passes through a metal detector which checks for any foreign bodies and is placed into batches, packed and stored in a refrigerating chamber until it is labelled and shipped. If it is packaged in bottles, there is a magnet-based filtering system to ensure any foreign particles are eliminated.
The Cool-Vega Company process has been designed so that it can carry out THREE filling systems (bottle, tub and drum) depending on the nature of the end product.
During the labelling and batching process, the appropriate documentation is added for each product which informs the client of, and guarantees, compliance with current legislation.
The products then move along a conveyor belt to be packed, labelled and placed onto pallets, depending on the specific requirements of each customer. Finally, they are stored under cold conditions to ensure the quality of the products and make them last longer.
